1 Setup Figma Plugin

  1. Download arcmeld-plugin.zip and extract it to a permanent location (Figma references the folder by path — don't delete it)
  2. In Figma Desktop: Plugins → Development → Import plugin from manifest
  3. Select the manifest.json file from the extracted folder
  4. Run the plugin, switch to Remote mode, and click "Sign in with Essential Dots"

2 Connect Your AI Tool

Register the MCP server:

claude mcp add --transport http ArcMeld https://arcmeld.com/mcp

Then authenticate (inside Claude Code):

/mcp

Design knowledge is auto-discovered via MCP prompts.

3 Quick Start

  1. Open a Figma file and run the ArcMeld plugin
  2. Switch to Remote and sign in
  3. In Claude Code, run: connect to connect
  4. Start designing: /figma design Create a login screen
